Orthopedic Physical Therapy

orthopedic physical therapy in greensboro, nc

The term “pelvic health” is slightly inaccurate, as we actually address so much more. The pelvic floor muscles are intimately related to function of the back, hips, and abdomen just to name a few structures. We find that addressing orthopedic issues related to the structures surrounding the pelvis translates to a more efficient and complete plan of care. In other words, we can help you feel better, faster, and with more lasting results!

Our therapists perform a complete head-to-toe exam for all of our patients. While focusing on your primary area of concern, we will also teach you if/how other structures may be related. For instance, there is a correlation between people with pelvic pain and those who have headaches and TMJ. Your toe mobility or the arches of the feet may be a huge contributor to your hip/back pain. That last lingering leakage during running may be related to hip weakness, form, or mobility issues.

Our therapists are the expert detectives at putting these puzzle pieces together, and are passionate about helping you understand it all! Some of the most common orthopedic treatment techniques we provide include: strengthening, mobility, stretching, dry needling, cupping, manual therapy, run/walk assessment, fitness programming, and more.

If you’ve been dealing with nagging hip or back pain for years and have been to traditional PT, pelvic health just might be the best next step in your care!
